The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Wednesday, 4th November 2020, officially inaugurated the Obuasi Campus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), at a brief ceremony in Obuasi.

It will be recalled that the idea of starting the Obuasi Campus of KNUST came up on 22nd January 2019, when President Akufo-Addo launched the Obuasi Mine Redevelopment Project, in Obuasi.
